Following her impressive performance at the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, opposite hitter Hoàng Hồng Hạnh was called up by Coach Tuấn Kiệt to the Vietnam women's volleyball team.
Opposite hitter Hoàng Hồng Hạnh, born in 2003 and standing 1.75m tall, is one of the promising young faces of Vietnamese women's volleyball. She currently plays for Hóa Chất Đức Giang Lào Cai and was recently named in the Vietnam women's volleyball squad preparing for the 2025 SEA Games.
According to Volleybox, Hoàng Hồng Hạnh has an approach jump reach of 2.76m and a block jump reach of 2.68m. On the court, she is known for her abundant energy and passionate spirit, always inspiring her teammates through relentless effort. In the second phase of the 2025 National Volleyball Championship, Hoàng Hồng Hạnh made a strong impression and was even compared to Vi Thị Như Quỳnh.
Hoàng Hồng Hạnh has been called up to the Vietnam women's volleyball team.
After a 3-0 win against XMLS Thanh Hóa in phase II, Hồng Hạnh said: "As a young player, I always bring my spirit and enthusiasm on the court to inspire my seniors, and I try my best to support them with good plays. I feel I performed quite well in this match, and I’m very happy about that."
Being selected for the national team is always a proud moment for any athlete. Ahead of SEA Games 33, Hồng Hạnh is among five young players called up to the Vietnam women's team for the first time, along with Phạm Quỳnh Hương, Lê Như Anh, Hà Kiều Vy, and Lê Thùy Linh.
Hoàng Hồng Hạnh won the Vietnamese women's volleyball championship in 2022 when she was loaned by Hóa Chất Đức Giang to Geleximco Thái Bình.
