According to the latest information, the Vĩnh Long attacker is not included in the preliminary 20-player roster of the Vietnam women's volleyball team, making the ambition to compete for the championship against host Thailand more difficult than ever.

This is a significant loss because at her peak, she was the team's most effective scorer, especially in crucial matches. When Bích Tuyền was on the court, Vietnam played on par with Thailand. In fact, the team achieved a historic milestone by defeating their "archrival" for the first time during the second leg of the 2025 SEA V.League.

At the recent 2025 World Championship held in Thailand, Bích Tuyền withdrew at the last minute due to personal reasons. Instead, coach Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt deployed Hoàng Thị Kiều Trinh and Vi Thị Như Quỳnh as opposite hitters. Despite their efforts, they have yet to deliver the explosive attacks needed.
