Shortly after concluding the National Volleyball Championship in 5th place with Hoa Chat Duc Giang, middle blocker Ly Thi Luyen has finalized her contract to join Hobby Ace, one of the leading clubs in Mongolian women's volleyball.
This marks a significant milestone in Ly Thi Luyen’s career, as it is her first opportunity to compete in an international Asian volleyball environment. According to reliable sports sources, her contract with Hobby Ace will last from November 1, 2025, to February 7, 2026. The team, based in Ulaanbaatar, was founded in 2017 and quickly established itself by winning the Mongolian Volleyball Association Cup, finishing 5th in the most recent national women’s volleyball championship.
With ambitions to overthrow rivals and claim the championship this year, the Hobby Ace coaching staff, led by Korean coach Wanki Cho, has decided to recruit several high-quality foreign players. Ly Thi Luyen, with her rich experience and impressive physique, is expected to be a "steel shield" in defense and a consistent scoring source for the team’s offensive play.
