Nguyễn Văn Quốc Duy has found a new team for the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Championship finals.

Nguyễn Văn Quốc Duy is among the most prominent players in the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Championship finals.

The national men's volleyball player, Nguyễn Văn Quốc Duy, will wear the Vĩnh Long jersey at the 2025 National A-Class Championship finals starting on October 23 in Hà Tĩnh.

Quốc Duy hails from Trà Vinh and grew up playing professionally for his hometown team. However, since Trà Vinh, Bến Tre, and Vĩnh Long merged into the new Vĩnh Long province, their volleyball teams were also combined into one.

Both Trà Vinh and Vĩnh Long earned spots in the National A-Class finals due to their strong performances in the group stage back in April, but the Vĩnh Long Sports Training and Competition Center registered only one team for the decisive phase of the season.

Following these changes, the new Vĩnh Long team now boasts two highly skilled attackers. Besides Quốc Duy, the team also includes spiker Lê Ngọc Trí, who was loaned from Đà Nẵng for this year's National Volleyball Championship.

Vĩnh Long’s goal is nothing less than securing the sole promotion spot to the 2026 National Volleyball Championship. However, this will be a tough challenge as Quốc Duy and his teammates face fierce competition from contenders like VLXD Bình Dương and host team Hà Tĩnh.

Nguyễn Văn Quốc Duy is one of the most exciting players to watch in the upcoming National A-Class Championship as well as in Vietnamese men's volleyball overall. He is known for his impressive jump serve, powerful spikes, and especially his renowned attacking serve, earning him the nickname "NishiDuy."

Although originally part of the old Trà Vinh roster, Quốc Duy’s successes mainly came during his loan spells at Thể Công Tân Cảng and particularly Tràng An Ninh Bình (now LPB Ninh Bình). This season, he was loaned to the rookie club Công an TPHCM and made a significant impact.
