The final stage of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Championship is set to kick off on October 23 in Ha Tinh.
The final round of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Championship will start on October 23 in Ha Tinh, bringing together the strongest teams of the season along with six foreign players, promising a thrilling contest for the promotion spot to the 2026 National Championship.
According to the organizers, four teams including Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh (women), and Ha Tinh (men) have completed the registration of foreign players to strengthen their squads. The host team Ha Tinh, led by coach Tran Dang Thanh, secured a contract early on October 6 with Assanaphan Chantajorn, a Thai outside hitter.
In the women's category, Hanoi Tasco Auto attracted the most attention by recruiting two quality foreign players simultaneously: outside hitter Adora Anae (USA) and middle blocker Kaewkalaya Kamulthala (Thailand) – a former Thai national team member. Both have trained with the team and quickly integrated. This addition demonstrates Hanoi's strong determination to return to the top tier of Vietnamese volleyball.
The Bac Ninh women's team is also competitive, bringing in two notable players: Eva Zatkovic (Slovakia) and Nannaphat Moonjakham (Thailand). Both play as opposites, expected to boost the team's offensive power and improve net defense.
Meanwhile, Quang Ninh opted for a more streamlined investment by registering only one foreign player – outside hitter Julia Sangiacomo (USA). This player has previously stood out in Indonesia and is highly regarded for her strong wing attack. The entire team is now in Ha Tinh preparing for the tournament.
The final round of the 2025 National A-Class Volleyball Championship will take place from October 23 to November 2, with a technical meeting scheduled on October 22 for teams to register their official 14-player rosters.
