Ha Tinh is committed to earning a promotion ticket to play in the National Volleyball Championship with the comeback of their main players.
Duong Ngoc Danh - a renowned volleyball hitter from Ha Tinh - will join the Hong Mountain team at the finals of the 2025 National Volleyball A-Class tournament, which will take place at home starting October 23rd.
Ngoc Danh, commonly known by the nickname Mo Hong, is a well-known figure in amateur volleyball tournaments. In the first phase of last year’s National Volleyball Championship, Mo Hong made a professional comeback playing as an outside hitter for his hometown team Ha Tinh. However, he was absent in the second phase, and Ha Tinh failed to maintain their position, leading to their relegation to this season’s National A-Class league.
In Vietnam’s professional volleyball second division, Ha Tinh, with players like Vu Quang Khoi, Tran Duc Hanh, and Dinh Van Phuong, proved too strong and secured a spot in the finals. With the home court advantage and the addition of Mo Hong, Ha Tinh is determined to return to the National Championship after a season away, facing competition from VLXD Binh Duong and Vinh Long.
Alongside Mo Hong, Ha Tinh also welcomes back middle blocker Doan Thanh Lam. This promising hitter missed the group stage along with setter Nguyen Van Duc, who transferred to VLXD Binh Duong.
Players like Duong Ngoc Danh, Tran Duc Hanh, and Dinh Van Phuong are expected to energize the atmosphere at Ha Tinh Sports Hall — a region known for its strong volleyball culture. Only one team will be promoted to the National Championship next season, which adds excitement and intensity to the matches.
