Last Sunday, Sinner captured the Vienna Open title. Afterward, the Italian player confirmed his relationship with model Leila Hasanovic.
In the final, Sinner competed against 2021 champion Zverev. He dropped the first set 3-6 but responded swiftly by winning the second 6-3. The final set was more intense, and after a 5-5 tie, Sinner achieved a critical break and closed out the match.

However, during the match, there was a tense moment—Sinner appeared concerned about a physical issue. In the third set, his left leg began cramping, noticeably slowing his movement, yet he refused to give up fighting.
When asked about the situation afterward, Sinner candidly shared his thoughts (translated from Italian): “This victory feels fantastic. The start of the final was very tough for me, but I focused hard and tried to play my best tennis at key moments. It was a difficult process, but the important thing was not to quit, to keep going, and make the right decisions when it counted. That’s the key—serving well and conserving energy during my service games.”

The world No. 2 ultimately endured the cramps to defeat Zverev 3-6, 6-3, 7-5, completing a comeback in Vienna. Throughout the match, he showed both resilience and intelligence. Both players hit 11 aces, but Sinner committed only one double fault compared to Zverev’s four. The German’s first serve percentage was 75%, slightly higher than Sinner’s 68%, but Sinner was more efficient, winning 82% of points on first serve and 62% on second. His clutch performance converted 2 of 8 break points, and he held an advantage in return points, outscoring Zverev 99 to 87 overall.

At one point, the cramps recalled painful memories from the Shanghai Masters, where he struggled to move in the third set against Glickspur and eventually retired, relinquishing his title defense. This time, however, Sinner rewrote the script. Moreover, his dominance on indoor hard courts is remarkable—since 2023, he has won 21 consecutive matches on this surface, tying Edberg’s record and bringing him closer to legends like McEnroe, Djokovic, and Federer.
After securing his second Vienna title, the four-time Grand Slam champion expressed gratitude to his team and parents, and publicly acknowledged Hasanovic as his “girlfriend” for the first time, confirming their relationship.

Sinner said: “I want to say a few words in English to my team. Thank you very much for your support, your dedication, and effort... Sometimes it’s not easy to understand me, but I truly appreciate your commitment. Thanks to everyone here, my family, my girlfriend, friends. Also thanks to my entire team and everyone watching at home, I really appreciate your support.”
Leila Hasanovic is a model and social media influencer. Reports indicate their relationship began earlier this year during the French Open, when she was first seen sitting in Sinner’s player box.

Following his ATP 500 Vienna victory, Sinner’s next tournament will be the Paris Masters, where he will compete alongside Zverev, Alcaraz, Ben Shelton, Fritz, and others. Sinner missed this event last year, so he has no points to defend this week. However, his chances of overtaking Alcaraz for world No. 1 are slim, as the Spaniard still leads him by 800 points.
