Two-time ATP Finals winner Zverev progressed to the Vienna Open semifinals after Tallon Griekspoor pulled out, securing the fourth singles berth for the season-ending Finals.

This is the eighth time in Zverev’s career reaching the year-end Finals, where he will appear alongside Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, and Novak Djokovic at the Pala Alpitour Arena. The 2025 ATP Finals will take place from November 9 to 16.
Earlier this year, Zverev gained a strong position on the PIF ATP Turin Finals qualification leaderboard by reaching the Australian Open final.
Following that, he won the Munich Open on home soil, claiming his 24th ATP Tour title; over the past decade, he has won at least one tour-level title in nine seasons. Additionally, Zverev reached the Stuttgart Open final and made the semifinals at the ATP Masters 1000 events in Toronto and Cincinnati.
Zverev first qualified for the ATP Finals in 2017 and has made it to this elite tournament eight times in the last nine seasons. He won the title twice, in 2018 and 2021, and reached the semifinals in 2019 and 2024.
Zverev’s all-time ATP Finals record stands at 17 wins and 10 losses. Since the event moved to Turin in 2021, his record is 9 wins and 3 losses.
In 2021, Zverev won his second ATP Finals title, becoming one of only two active players with multiple championships at this event, the other being Novak Djokovic, who has won seven year-end Finals titles.
