The U23 Asian Cup qualifiers schedule for tomorrow (9.9): China vs Australia, live on CCTV-5, a draw is enough for qualification.

Tomorrow (2025.9.9), the last group match of the U23 Asian Cup qualifiers will be held between China and Australia, live on CCTV-5. China only needs a draw to qualify.

According to the schedule announced by the organizers, the China vs Australia match will begin at 7:35 PM tomorrow.

CCTV-5 and Yangshipin will begin live broadcasting the China vs Australia match at 7:30 PM tomorrow evening.

China has completed two group matches, winning both and accumulating six points. Australia, in the same group, also has six points but leads the group due to a superior goal difference.

The qualification rule for the main tournament is that the group winners and the four best runners-up advance. Currently, China only needs a draw against Australia to qualify, a scenario we have seen before. Can China hold Australia to a draw? Personally, I think it’s very difficult, almost impossible. However, if China loses, can they still qualify? That depends on other teams’ results. I sincerely hope China advances to the main tournament; otherwise, it would be quite embarrassing!
