Post-tournament summary and reflections
All the champions and runners-up in this tournament were from China and Japan. Although the Chinese players won 2 titles and 4 runner-ups, their overall results were slightly behind Japan’s, who secured 3 titles and 1 runner-up.
This event was categorized as a regular challenge tournament, mainly for newcomers to earn ranking points, with no top-tier players participating from any country. Based on the final results, young Chinese players are not guaranteed victories over Japanese opponents. What will happen in the future? Will they be dominated?
We look forward to more participation from Chinese newcomers in competitions to improve their skills and tactics, raise their level, smoothly take over, and defeat Japanese players.
