Latest report from the WTT Almaty regular event: In the women's doubles final just finished, Qian Tianyi and Shi Xunyao were defeated 0-3 by Hashimoto Honoka and Sato Hitomi, missing out on the championship.

The match followed a best-of-five sets format, with the three sets ending 5-11, 4-11, and 6-11. They were unable to mount any resistance, clearly indicating a considerable difference in skill levels.

Hashimoto Honoka is indeed very strong; Shi Xunyao and Qian Tianyi belong to China’s second-tier team and need proper development. Otherwise, if they become main players later, their mindset might be unstable and lack confidence.
