Bellingham declares challenge ahead of El Clasico, affirming he is at his best and prepared to guide Real Madrid to triumph against Barcelona in the crucial showdown at Bernabeu.
Before the “El Clasico” clash between Real Madrid and Barcelona at Bernabeu, Jude Bellingham issued a strong warning to all opponents, confirming he is in the best condition since the season began.
After a tough start to the season due to a shoulder injury and summer surgery, the English star had to spend the initial La Liga matches on the bench. However, Bellingham made an impressive comeback by scoring against Juventus in the Champions League, proving he remains the heart of “Los Blancos”’ gameplay.
Not only striving to regain his form, Bellingham also faced difficulties in his relationship with England’s head coach Thomas Tuchel. The German manager sparked controversy by accusing Bellingham of “lacking emotional control” and excluding him from the squad for the October World Cup qualifiers. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old midfielder chose to respond through his performances on the pitch.
Speaking ahead of the big match, Bellingham stated: “El Clasico is the most special match in the world. Since I was a child, I have always dreamed of being part of that atmosphere. This time, playing at home, I will give my all to secure a win for Real Madrid.”
Bellingham also mentioned that he is in peak condition: “I feel strong and full of energy. Recent games have helped me regain rhythm and confidence. This is the moment I am ready to give everything for the team.”
Real Madrid currently leads La Liga by two points over Barcelona, but the Catalan team holds a psychological edge after winning all four encounters last season, including a 4-0 victory at Bernabeu. Despite missing key players like Rudiger and Alaba, Real places trust in the brilliant form of Kylian Mbappe, who has scored 10 goals in 9 matches.
El Clasico always goes beyond just a game. For Bellingham, it is also a chance to prove his resilience and status as a top global star.
