Rumors say Xuân Son will return to the Vietnam national team as early as November.

Following an extended injury hiatus, striker Nguyễn Xuân Son is expected to be summoned again to the Vietnam national team by coach Kim Sang-sik during the upcoming November gathering.

After undergoing lengthy treatment for a serious injury, naturalized striker Xuân Son is likely to be called up by coach Kim Sang-sik to rejoin the Vietnam national team in the November training session. This is a positive sign for the "Golden Star Warriors" offense as they prepare for the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers.

Xuân Son suffered a severe injury in the second leg final of the 2024 ASEAN Cup between Vietnam and Thailand. Post-surgery, he has demonstrated remarkable recovery, diligently training and strictly following the medical team's rehabilitation plan to return to the pitch as soon as possible.
