The Cong Viettel overturned the score against Da Nang

The first notable moment in the first half was the incident causing goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung’s injury. At the 11th minute, Huu Thang smartly launched a long ball to Lucao, forcing Bui Tien Dung to rush out from the midfield to clear the ball. Bui Tien Dung fell awkwardly and remained on the ground in pain. Just 5 minutes later, he had to reluctantly leave the field, making way for Van Bieu.

Notably, shortly after, Da Nang took the lead. In the 37th minute, defender Viet Tu failed to clear the ball inside the penalty area, creating a golden chance for Makaric. The Da Nang striker did not miss, finishing accurately from close range to open the score at 0-1.
