Following the initial round of the 2025 National U20 futsal championship, 28 goals have been scored by 8 participating teams.

On the afternoon of September 7th, the 2025 National U20 futsal championship officially kicked off at the Chanh Hung ward futsal club arena in Ho Chi Minh City.

This year’s tournament features 10 teams, an increase of 2 from last season, including An Phu, Khanh Hanh Tay Ninh, Nha Trang, Sahako, Saigon Eminence, Saigon Titans, Tan Hiep Hung Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Son Bac, Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City, and Xa Warriors. The teams are divided into two groups, competing in a single round-robin format to accumulate points for ranking. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, which will determine the matchups for the final and third-place playoff. The competition runs from September 7th to 19th, 2025.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau – Deputy General Secretary of the Vietnam Football Federation and Head of the organizing committee, emphasized:“The National U20 futsal championship is a crucial platform for clubs to invest more in youth training. It also opens opportunities for young futsal talents to prove themselves, aiming to become professional players, supply successors for the national futsal team, and promote the development of futsal in Vietnam.”

Following the opening ceremony, the matches were highly competitive, showcasing many spectacular goals and promising an exciting and emotional season ahead.

In Group A, U20 Thai Son Nam Ho Chi Minh City secured their first 3 points with a 4-2 victory over U20 Sahako. The most impressive performance came from U20 Saigon Titans, who delivered an explosive display to defeat U20 Xa Warriors 6-2.

In Group B, U20 Tan Hiep Hung Ho Chi Minh City narrowly defeated U20 An Phu 4-3, while defending champions U20 Thai Son Bac confirmed their strength with a 6-1 win over U20 Saigon Eminence.
