At the PVF Youth Football Training Center, Phong Phú Hà Nam faced Hanoi in the first round of the 2025 Thai Son Bac Cup women's national league. Eleven minutes later, Bích Thùy assisted Minh Chuyên, who easily doubled the lead to 2-0. At this point, Than KSVN seemed to wake up. The mining region team surged forward and got what they needed. In the 36th minute, from a precise cross by Thu Thìn, Hà Thị Nhài headed comfortably into an empty net to reduce the deficit to 1-2.

In the second half, mounting pressure helped Than KSVN equalize. Trúc Hương scored against Thái Nguyên T&T in the 52nd minute after a pass from Nguyễn Thị Vạn. Unfortunately, Than KSVN could not find another goal and had to settle for a 2-2 draw.
