During the S15 World Championship Swiss round BO3 clash between CFO and HLE, CFO fielded Driver as top laner in the first game, then swapped to Rest for the second. Ultimately, after two intense games, HLE won 2-0 against CFO, securing a spot in the quarterfinals!

In the first game, CFO’s lineup featured Quasanti top, Xin Zhao jungle, Orianna mid, and Ezreal with Nami bot; HLE ran Rumble top, Jarvan jungle, Azir mid, and Yuumi with Aphelios bot. During laning, HongQ’s Orianna made consecutive mistakes, gifting kills, while Zeka’s Azir started strong at 5-0. However, CFO’s bot lane held the advantage, with Doggo’s Ezreal farming perfectly. Early on, CFO secured two dragons and the Rift Herald, while HLE took down the first turret top, leading by 2k gold early.

In the mid game, HLE claimed the Rift Herald, while CFO failed to contest the dragon. HongQ’s Orianna ult hit four players, but CFO only managed to kill Zeus’s Rumble. At 23 minutes, CFO pushed mid, killing Zeus’s Rumble, then caught Peanut’s Jarvan in the jungle, securing the dragon that put them one away from the next dragon. At 30 minutes, HLE took the first Elder Dragon swiftly while Doggo recalled. In the ensuing team fight, HongQ’s Orianna was instantly killed, and HLE traded zero deaths for four kills. By 31 minutes, HLE secured the first game victory. The highest damage dealer was Zeka’s Azir for HLE, and HongQ’s Orianna led CFO’s damage.

In the second game, CFO’s roster was Renekton top, Trundle jungle, Ryze mid, and Ziggs with Leona bot; HLE fielded Excavator top, Vi jungle, Taliyah mid, and Caitlyn with Alistar bot. During laning, CFO kept good momentum, killing Peanut’s Vi three times and taking down the first bot turret early, leading by 1k gold.

At 18 minutes, after back-and-forth fights mid, Doggo’s Ziggs ult heavily damaged HLE’s two carries, allowing CFO to secure the dragon that put them one away from the next. At 23 minutes, after CFO crushed Zeus’s Excavator, they took the Rift Herald. In the late game at 31 minutes, both teams fought over the dragon; HLE secured it and killed Doggo’s Ziggs. They then went for Baron. CFO tried to stop them, but Viper’s Caitlyn dealt huge damage. HLE killed CFO’s mid and top laners, took Baron, and Viper got a double kill. At 33 minutes, while pushing mid, HLE killed Rest’s Renekton, then dove tower bot to kill three CFO members, winning the match in one decisive push.
