During the LPL playoffs BO5 between WBG and AL, after five hard-fought games, WBG secured a 3-2 victory over AL and advanced! AL was sent to the losers' bracket.

In the first game, AL's lineup was Sion top, Poppy jungle, Orianna mid, Sivir and Lulu bot; WBG fielded Gwen top, Wukong jungle, Taliyah mid, Yone and Rell bot. During laning, shanks' Orianna solo killed xiaohu's Taliyah. Later, a river skirmish saw Sion flank by Saint Gunner, AL traded 0 for 3, pushed down two towers, secured Rift Herald, and gained a 5K gold lead early on.

In mid-game, Tian's Wukong was caught and heavily damaged; AL took Baron. At 25 minutes, shanks' Orianna solo killed breathe's Gwen in the bot lane, then helped teammates kill three WBG members in a frontal fight. AL secured the first Baron. At 27 minutes, WBG’s top lane attempt to catch shanks' Orianna failed; AL reinforcements arrived to wipe WBG and easily took the first game. The highest damage dealer was shanks' Orianna.

In the second game, WBG had Renekton top, Qiyana jungle, Annie mid, Lucian and Xayah bot; AL's lineup was Ornn top, Zed jungle, Galio mid, Kai'Sa and Alistar bot. During laning, Tian’s Qiyana gained momentum, successfully ganking bot for first blood on Light’s Xayah, killed Tarzan’s Zed mid, and with a perfect ultimate in the dragon fight, helped WBG achieve a 0-for-3 exchange, pushing two towers early and gaining a 5K gold lead.

In mid-game, WBG initiated Baron, AL responded but WBG immediately engaged, killing kael's Alistar. In the ensuing fight, Tarzan’s Zed secured Baron, but WBG chased and traded 1 for 4. At 28 minutes, WBG forced a team fight near Baron in AL’s jungle; after AL’s arrival, WBG wiped AL 1 for 5 and took Baron. In the final push, WBG decisively engaged, though Liu Qingsong was instantly killed, Tian’s Qiyana and Light’s Xayah cleaned up. WBG wiped AL again and won the second game. MVP went to Tian’s Qiyana.

In the third game, AL ran Rumble top, Zhao Xin jungle, Viktor mid, Varus and Neeko bot; WBG chose Quasanti top, Naya Feili jungle, Ryze mid, Corki and Seraphine bot. During laning, WBG took the dragon and retreated; AL tried to contest but Kael’s Neeko was instantly killed, WBG chased and traded 1 for 4, gaining a 2K gold lead early.

In mid-game, WBG killed Saint Gunner’s Rumble; AL attempted Baron, Breathe’s Quasanti initiated the fight. Although Tarzan’s Zhao Xin secured Baron, AL lost the team fight badly, with Tian’s Naya Feili successfully flanking and WBG wiping AL. At 27 minutes, WBG actively took Baron; Tarzan’s Zhao Xin arrived and stole it, but WBG decisively engaged, Breathe’s Quasanti trapped enemies, and WBG traded 1 for 4. At 29 minutes, WBG pushed mid, Hope’s Varus was instantly killed, Tian’s Naya Feili cleaned up, WBG killed four AL members and took the third game.

In the fourth game, AL’s lineup was Jayce top, Trundle jungle, Kassadin mid, Miss Fortune and Bard bot; WBG fielded Aatrox top, Jarvan jungle, Morgana mid, Zeri and Rell bot. During laning, a dragon pit skirmish saw shanks’ Kassadin secure two kills. AL had lane advantages top and bot, with Kassadin well farmed and a 2K gold lead.

In mid-game, xiaohu’s Morgana was caught and killed bot; AL took Baron. At 27 minutes, AL killed Liu Qingsong’s Rell in their jungle and chose to take Baron. WBG tried to contest but AL abandoned Baron and secured a team wipe in the jungle, winning the fourth game in one decisive push.

In the fifth game, WBG’s lineup was Aphelios top, Lee Sin jungle, Twisted Fate mid, Ezreal and Braum bot; AL chose Rumble top, Vi jungle, LeBlanc mid, Lucian and Nami bot. During laning, both sides traded evenly; AL’s jungle had better coordination in small skirmishes and more kills, with both teams economically even early on.

In mid-game, both teams fiercely contested Baron multiple times without securing it, and the gold remained close. At 30 minutes, during another Baron fight, Breathe’s Aphelios was instantly killed, Hope’s Lucian cleaned up with a triple kill. After AL killed four WBG members and secured Baron, at 34 minutes, WBG ambushed and killed kael’s Nami in the bush, then all charged to kill Hope’s Lucian, wiping AL 0 for 5 and winning the match.
