Hello everyone, I’m Game Brother Xiao.
As the tenth anniversary celebration approaches, the other two limited edition skins for the anniversary—Yang Jian’s Thousand-Year Vertigo and Shao Siyuan’s Shaman Ritual God—have finally been revealed. Let’s take a look at how the effects of these two skins perform~
Most of you already know the skin’s appearance, so I’ll skip the introduction and go straight to the effects: The skill effects mainly use gold and cyan tones, featuring elements from the Sanxingdui relics, such as the vertigo mask, eye-shaped artifacts, bronze divine beasts, and golden staff. Basic attack: When swinging the blade, the bronze-patterned sword emits a faint multicolored glow; the forward stab bursts with golden sharpness. Passive: When Yang Jian’s energy is full, the mask fragments on his side reform into a complete golden vertigo mask, summoning a divine form of heaven and earth that changes his outfit to gold, with fish and birds flying out.
Skill 1: Yang Jian summons a howling celestial dog transformed into a bronze divine beast, accompanied by fish and bird totems. Before the second transformation, Yang Jian passes through an eye-shaped magic formation, cutting a path with his body as a blade; after transforming, he uses the golden mask as a shield to break through illusions ahead. Skill 2: Before transformation, the sword swings with ancient patterns, leaving cracks on the ground; after transformation, the blade enlarges, birds fly up, and afterimages appear, eventually turning bronze-cyan. Skill 3: A laser-like beam shoots out, with the final strike revealing the shadow of a deity.
This legendary skin is priced at a 990-point package. Overall, the skin is decent, with all the expected effects present, though it lacks a wow factor. Perhaps because there are many skins in this series and the effects share similar colors and elements, it may cause aesthetic fatigue as more skins come out. Only the golden divine form effect of Yang Jian’s Thousand-Year Vertigo stands out, but unfortunately, its duration is too short.
The effects still use gold and cyan, but the elements switch to Sanxingdui relics like bronze bells, pottery pigs, and bronze birds. There are many symbolic totems and threads representing concentrated faith. Basic attack: Shao Siyuan throws a symbolic eye-shaped bronze artifact; Passive: Shao Siyuan floats forward, the bell ringing back the echo of the gods; Skill 1: A bird-shaped spirit passes to allies, a copper bell appears overhead, showing a symbolic bronze kneeling figure pattern, which is then pulled to allies by bronze patterns; Skill 2: A pig-shaped spirit passes to enemies, with an abstract mask totem hanging overhead; Skill 3: Inspired by bronze bells and masks, the spirit leaps along the bell path, a huge golden mask phantom appears, and after the bell fades, divine traces remain on the ground.
This epic skin is available at a flash sale price of 60 points during the first week, then will return to the regular price of 888 points. The skin’s price matches its quality, with no new design added, following the existing concept. Overall, it’s average, 60 points is acceptable, but the 888 points price later is not recommended. So it’s best to seize this chance to get it.
That’s all for now. If you liked it, please give a thumbs up for support. If you have anything to say, ask, or want to see, leave a comment below—I’ll read them all~
