Hello everyone, I’m Game Brother Xiao.
The S41 season of Honor of Kings has been live for nearly a month now. How is everyone’s rank progression? After a month of adaptation and tweaks, Chisha’s data has mostly settled. It’s now time to comprehensively assess the new hero Chisha’s strength. Let’s check it out.
According to the latest camp data, Chisha’s overall performance across all ranks—win rate, pick rate, and ban rate—stands at 49.1%, 7.7%, and 2.7% respectively. In the more skill-demanding peak matches above 1350 rating, Chisha’s win rate, pick rate, and ban rate are 50.4%, 10.5%, and 4.7%. At the highest level, Chisha’s stats are 48.5% win rate, 8.2% pick rate, and 3.0% ban rate. Overall, these numbers indicate a moderate to slightly below-average strength level.
First, Chisha is relatively weak in the early laning phase on the solo lane. It’s well known that Chisha is famous for attack speed, with an ultimate that can even surpass the attack speed cap in Honor of Kings. Correspondingly, Chisha’s single basic attack damage is not very high, requiring many frequent hits to deal damage. This situation is somewhat similar to marksmen: weak early but growing stronger later. This is reflected in the hero’s power curve data, which shows an early game value around 0.45, rising to 0.51 in the late game. Facing many solo lane heroes, Chisha naturally struggles to gain a significant advantage, resulting in a widening economic gap.
Second, Chisha does not have an advantage on the farming lane either. Some players think that since Chisha’s power curve is similar to a marksman’s, playing on the farming lane should work. Indeed, Chisha can farm well, but the strength remains limited. Tests show that Chisha is essentially a warrior. Although equipped with five weapons, only the last one, the bow, is ranged. Facing long-range marksmen pressure, the early game is still very tough, especially against enemy marksman-support duos. Without resources to stack passives and switch weapons, Chisha often has to endure attacks passively and cannot perform optimally.
Third, the jungle dilemma. Ideally, Chisha’s three weapon forms allow flexible switching depending on the situation, seemingly fitting for jungle play. But in practice, it’s not that simple. The three forms don’t switch freely; they require attacks to build stacks, so players cannot activate the ideal form immediately, limiting peak effectiveness. Moreover, Chisha’s damage output ramps up slowly, which hampers ganking potential. Typical builds now include Lightning Dagger, End of the World, and tank items like Thornmail, relying on sustained damage. However, junglers usually need burst damage to secure kills, so most opt for crit items like Infinity Edge, Trinity Force, or high physical damage gear such as Shadow Axe and Dominator.
