On December 5th Beijing time, during the NBA G League matchup between the Rip City Mix and the San Diego Clippers, Yang Hansen was in the starting lineup. After a fierce fight that extended into overtime, the Mix lost 128-135 to San Diego. Yang Hansen played 35 minutes, contributing 20 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Simpson added 31 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, while Dillon Jones recorded a triple-double with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists. Fink hit a three-pointer to tie it again, leaving the Mix with a chance to win. However, a turnover on the inbound pass gave San Diego a final possession, and their last shot rimmed out, sending the game into overtime at 127-127.

In overtime, the San Diego Clippers opened with a 6-0 run. Yang Hansen broke the scoring drought with free throws, but ultimately San Diego defeated the Mix 135-128.
