Kevin Garnett exposed for participating in illegal poker games! Updated odds for the next Hall of Famer to be arrested: The Timberwolves legend leads the list

On October 25th Beijing time, reporter Torre disclosed that ex-NBA player Kevin Garnett was involved in illegal poker games. Torre had earlier exposed Kawhi Leonard’s suspected contract manipulation.

“Multiple former professional athletes participated in private poker games organized by those charged in the Department of Justice’s ‘Royal Flush Operation.’ Sources with direct knowledge of a 2019 game confirmed that Garnett was one of the participants.”

The report did not claim that the 2008 NBA champion helped Billups manipulate the games, only suggesting Garnett might have attended one of the poker sessions. Additionally, Torre mentioned “several former professional athletes took part in private poker games,” implying more names similar to Garnett’s could emerge in the coming days.

Previous reports indicated that Billups, Mafia families, and other involved parties orchestrated a poker manipulation scheme targeting specific individuals, arranging high-stakes games involving professional players like Billups and Jones. FBI investigations revealed that rigged shuffles read card information during dealing and relayed it to off-site “controllers.” This data was quickly analyzed and transmitted to personnel at the game location.

The scheme also employed other cheating methods, including hidden cameras, chip trays capable of reading cards, and special glasses that could detect marked cards. It remains unclear whether Garnett was complicit in the poker scam or also a victim of the fraud.

Previously, the FBI has arrested over 30 individuals, half of whom have Mafia connections. Garnett is currently not among those arrested. ESPN reporter Shams stated that the NBA poker scandal investigation could take 6 to 12 months, so more details are expected to surface in 2026.

Garnett was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in 2020 and was a 15-time NBA All-Star during his career.

Billups, a Hall of Famer, has already been arrested. Who will be the next Hall of Fame player to be taken into custody? Current odds place Garnett (+200) at the top, followed by Iverson, Pierce, Jordan, Barkley, and Sabonis.

Judging by the current investigation’s trajectory, this storm may just be beginning.
