Every team competing in the 2025 NBA Cup will receive a newly customized court. On October 25th Beijing time, the NBA released the complete design concepts for all 30 courts for the third tournament.

These courts were crafted by artist Victor Solomon, including not only distinctive elements but also full-color gradient designs, exclusive overlay patterns for each team, and hidden features for the past two NBA Cup champions. Solomon also designed the courts for last season’s event and collaborated with Tiffany & Co. on the NBA Cup trophy design.
Here are more details about the 2025 NBA Cup court designs:
Team-specific gradients: Each court features a gradient based on the primary color of the home team. The angle of the gradient is determined by the team’s conference (Eastern or Western), adding subtle structural and symbolic meaning to the design.
Contrasting color court edges: The edges of the courts use the colors of the home team’s special edition Nike NBA jerseys, which all home teams will wear during the event. Visiting teams will wear the classic edition Nike NBA jerseys in the Emirates Airline NBA Cup games.
5×5 mosaic grid: Courts include a meaningful 5×5 grid overlay, representing both the five players on the court and the five teams in each tournament group.
Midcourt city branding: Each court prominently displays the name of the home team’s city or state at midcourt, with the team’s nickname or full name printed near the baseline.
Exclusive overlay patterns: All 30 courts feature unique logos, lettering, or graphic overlays highlighting each team’s distinct identity.
Hidden details: On the midcourt areas of the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers courts, the trophy base includes engraved years marking each team’s NBA Cup victories.

The group stage of this NBA Cup will begin on November 1st and run through November 29th, with games scheduled every Saturday. Afterwards, 8 teams will advance to the knockout rounds, with the semifinals and finals held on December 14th and 17th in Las Vegas. Below are the design plans for all 30 teams — whose home court stands out the most?
