31+11+7! Immediately quit the national team after the game! Two-time NBA All-Star center

Vucevic has declared his retirement from the Montenegro men's basketball team...

He averaged 20.8 points, 11.6 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in this year's EuroBasket, highlighted by a stunning 31 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists in the final game. Yet Montenegro only secured one win in the group stage and missed out on the playoffs, making his performance feel like a solo effort.

Since 2011, Vucevic has represented Montenegro in major international competitions, including four EuroBaskets and two World Cups, playing a total of 39 games for the national team with averages of 13.6 points and 7.8 rebounds per game.

Born on October 24, 1990, Vucevic is about to turn 35. Standing 2.08 meters tall, the big center currently plays for the Chicago Bulls in the NBA. Last season, he appeared in 73 regular-season games, averaging 18.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3.5 assists with a shooting percentage of 53%. He also made 1.8 three-pointers per game at a 40.2% clip. His current contract expires next summer, with a salary of $21.48 million for the upcoming season.

In recent years, Vucevic has been put on the trading block by the Bulls, with buyout rumors circulating, attracting keen interest from the Lakers' management. This summer, the Lakers acquired Ayton and Smart from the buyout market, both highly experienced players.

Of course, unless absolutely necessary, the Bulls still prefer to trade Vucevic to get some assets back rather than lose him for nothing.

Earlier, some American reporters suggested the Warriors sign-and-trade Kuminga to acquire Vucevic from the Bulls.

After losing three-time champion center Looney this summer, the Warriors now only rely on Draymond Green inside. Bringing in Vucevic would greatly strengthen their frontcourt depth. His versatile inside-outside playstyle fits well with the team's offensive system, though his defense might not meet Coach Kerr's standards.

Vucevic is a typical offense-strong, defense-weak player. The points he scores on opponents are often matched or exceeded by what opponents score on him. Last season, his defensive rating was 116.0, ranking 241st in the league, near the bottom. Combined with his nearly 35 years of age, this explains why, despite impressive stats, he hasn't generated much buzz in the trade market.

Who will ultimately acquire this two-time All-Star big man? Only time will tell.
