On September 5th Beijing time, after departing Shanghai, LeBron James continued his China trip, arriving in Chengdu at 12:01 AM on the 5th to take part in the Chengdu event today. The Twin Towers in Chengdu lit up a giant poster for him, showcasing full support.

At the Shanghai event, LeBron’s popularity was clear, igniting excitement among the fans present. He proudly posed with his autographed shoes and joined the crowd in the crown gesture. After dancing to the music, he officially unveiled his 23rd signature sneaker model.

During this event, LeBron James gave an interview to the media, discussing his preparations for the new season and offering advice to young basketball players in China.

“On the court, I’m always searching for ways to improve myself. I never feel like I’ve reached my limit; I want to keep progressing, constantly challenge myself, hold myself accountable, and give my best every night,” LeBron said. “My career has been an incredible journey... Facing my 23rd NBA season, I’m very excited. It’s a significant year for both our team and myself.”

Speaking about Chinese youth basketball, LeBron stated, “The progress is obvious and needs no elaboration. Young athletes in China are getting better not only in skills and basketball IQ but also in physical fitness, strength, and speed. When I first came to China, I noticed one thing — their passion for basketball. Once you have that passion, everything else falls into place.”

After the event, LeBron quickly headed to Chengdu. The organizers for the Chengdu stop had already prepared for the activities, eagerly awaiting his arrival. Many fans waited outside the Waldorf Hotel just to catch a glimpse of him.

According to earlier reports, the Chengdu event is scheduled to take place at the Nike store in Chengdu MixC (No. 8 Shuangqing Road, Chenghua District), expected after noon on September 5th. LeBron will appear at MixC to interact with fans.
